Today i saw: huntington beach with its freezing cold water and warm cozy sand.
{and a lifeguard who was on the phone the entire time, hooting and hollering and joking up a storm. good watchman, that one}

Wednesday 11th august
Today i saw: the most beautiful illustrations in a "wizard of oz" book.
found in my favorite theater turned bookstore in uptown whittier.
if i had money, i would have bought it, i think.
Tuesday 10th august
Today i saw: pie for breakfast.
our experiment- which was originally supposed to be ravioli dough, but with a few ingredients added and some berries in the middle, turned out to be a pie.
and a yummy one at that, my friends.
Sunday 8th august
Today i saw: my beautiful new dress.
it's a beige {maybe nudeish?} color, and it reminds me of peter pan for some reason.
i am going to wear it to daniel and allison's wedding!
Saturday 7th august
Today i saw: empty teepees at the end of camp idrafoje.

Friday 6th august
Today i saw: many people pie'd in the face.
at the end of camp, we put on a carnival for the kids. i promised myself last year that i would not be in charge of the pie in the face booth, but i think i forgot.
i now promise myself for the second time- never shall i work that booth again.
i smell like rotten milk for days after because somehow i'm the one who gets a pie to the face, even though i'm the worker.
